They do!! I just got takeout last week. You can even pay over the phone and they'll bring it to your car.
Yes
Amazing food. Authentic italian food. Super nice owners!
Went in just for a quick snack on way home. Ended up staying there for 2 hours because of the great food, service, and patrons. We all struck up conversation and dined at the bar like we've all been friends for years! Fresh handmade everything. Awesome place.
Wow, what a find. Authentic Italian in downtown Falmouth. Don't miss this place. On a nice night enjoy the outdoor patio with your charcuterie plate, homemade pasta, a nice bottle of Italian wine, and the delicious affogato for dessert. A true gem.
We live near Main Street, and we love to go to the local restaurants for dinner. Osteria la Civetta is our go-to place when we really want to relax and enjoy ourselves. We love the atmosphere, the ever-changing menu, and the staff, who are always friendly and accommodating. Most of all, though, we LOVE the authentic Italian food - fresh, interesting, done to perfection. It's wonderful for an intimate dinner, but we've also brought our toddler granddaughter there. She loves it! They treat her like a special guest, and make her a pasta dish that's just perfect. I can't say enough about how wonderful it is to have the Osteria right downtown - it's like a quick vacation when we go there. My favorite thing about autumn is that the tourists are gone, and now we can get a table at this restaurant, even on the weekend.
Probably due to covic19, not up to par
Wonderful pasta dishes and interesting specials. It's worth making a reservation. Plan on taking your time and enjoying multiple courses.
Actually four and one half, I would have given a five but our male server seemed to be having an “off” night. Atmosphere and food were great, prices are very reasonable. I’ll be back even though good service is as important to me as good food. The service was not bad, but our party of four all felt rushed and as if our server was annoyed we were there. Everyone is entitled to one bad night. There were empty tables so we weren’t being rushed because of the wait. Well worth trying while on the Cape.
Maybe it was just us, but food was very bland. Was told that the Bolognese is there best seller, better douse it in cheese, no flavor. Short ribs were weird, not tender like they should be. Disappointed.
Group of 9 with waitress Samantha. We had a fabulous experience here. What a pleasure to be able to have dinner in a restaurant and carry on a conversation at a normal vice volume. One member of our party is allergic to gluten, Olive oil and a number of other foods. Osteria pulled together a delicious dinner for her. The rest of our party raved about their meals. Thank you so much for the fabulous evening and incredible service from Samantha.
Great service, the food was amazing. Portion size was just right!
The food was great but the service was off. It was a Tuesday in March and it seemed that there were two servers (one might have been the bartender); they didn't seem to be in synch. We were the first ones in the dining room but it began to fill up. I'm pretty sure that our order didn't get rung in until I inquired when meals started arriving at other tables. I waited tables for 13 years or so way back when and stuff happens; we have off days. It was my first time here so I'll give a pass, after all, everyone was nice and the meal was good. The atmosphere is nice though my mom found it a bit dark😉. I'd go again.
Fuego. Love everything I have ordered.
Intimate, quiet bar great food
We dined here on a Sunday night and were somewhat pleased with our experience. Our server was very friendly, but a little slow- that wasn't a big deal though. The food was pretty average - we ordered the breaded Octopus and Olives for an appetizer. The Octopus was cooked well, but the breading was unnecessary and soggy. The olives were okay, but had pieces of rosemary that were unnecessary and unpleasant to eat, as they were still dried. We ordered the pasta Carbonara and the Seafood Rigatoni Special. The Carbonara was good, but the Special was sort of average. Most of the seafood in the dish were overcooked and some of the pasta was overcooked and some of it was undercooked and gummy. The sauce, however, was out of this world good.Overall, the experience was very nice and I would be willing to bet our table was just off.
Staff were very friendly and service was great. Food came in great portions, great sauce to pasta ratio and very tasty!
The best Italian food around. Quaint place and the employees are wonderful. We’ve gone for dinner several times. Never a bad taste. The only thing, more 5 stars, less seating for us!
The only authentic Italian restaurant on the Cape. We live in Chatham and we drive the 1 hour there just for dinner when we are craving Italian. This is bolognese cuisine.. so .. expect delicious, rich, simple, decadent plates! A must!
Such a sweet ambiance! Lucky to get Dee as our waitress! Great recommendations about the menu. Excellent martinis. (Have a second!)
The closest thing to eating in Italy. Great food, great space-time indoor and outdoor Very fair prices during the busy summer months A must visit in Falmouth.
I’ve been really wanting to try this but unfortunately was disappointed tonight. Maybe an off night but shorts are not short ribs. They are tiny dry fajita like strips with a arugula salad with no dressing. Lasagna is their signature special and it was burnt and tasteless. Wish I wanted to go back but I don’t. Plus side was atmosphere was cute and service was good.
Great Italian food from Bologna cuisine, cooked from a real chef from Bologna. I found the food very authentic. I would suggest you try the friggione, simply onion with tomato sauce, unique and delicious. The pollo is really good too. Great selections of wines and very nice staff and super attentive.
What a gem we came across for dinner last night. Turned out lasagna verde is a weekend special. It was melt in your mouth delicious, better than what I had in Bologna! Highly recommend this place.
Outstanding everything
Pasta was amazing and the waiter Matt saved my vacation by running to find me after I left my new camera at the table.
Can't go wrong with hand made pasta! Great decor, and awesome food.
Wife and I went there for cocktails and appetizers and sat at the little bar in the dining area as you enter and go to your right. The food is to die for and the cocktails were awesome! The espresso martini is excellent! Do yourself a favor and try Osteria. Go early, fills up quick and they do take reservations; they have to. Too popular with locals and summer residents not to! Looking forward to our next visit!
The best carbonara, bread to start is pure perfection! Lovely people, venue in and out, any time of year.
Always enjoy dinners at this wonderful cafe! But.....had a great experience this past weekend at a pasta sauce class as well as an opportunity to make our own colored pasta. Fabio is a knowledgeable and caring teacher and was so helpful and encouraging. He and Sara then prepared us a full dinner with all the fixings!! Everyone seemed to enjoy the whole experience. Can't wait for the next series of classes. Grazie!
They have a good wine selection, great espresso martini, and a casual atmosphere. The decor was quaint, a try at vintage. There was an issue with the appetizer which they kindly took off the bill. The dinner entrees we got were decent, the pasta was perfectly cooked, but not much else to rave about. Service was good, we got in and out within an hour. All in all, it was a good night, but they didn't live up to our expectations. I think they still have some growing pains to work out.
Delicious local Italian restaurant with a great vibe.
Prosciuttos are there best.
Quaint little place. The chairs reminder me of those found at my family's house in Italy. I had the past Carbonara and it was delicious. For dessert, I ordered the special; a strawberry gelato that several at the table enjoyed tasting from mine.
Pasta is fabulous here and the ambiance is great. we had a great night...but stick to the Italian fare. My husband ordered the swordfish special and it was dry and not very fresh or favorable.
Cozy spot tucked into down town area of Falmouth. Absolutely delicious specialty Italian food. Superb service. A real treat.
My "go to" on Main Street. Lobster risto was fab.
This place quickly turned into my favorite Italian restaurant in the cape. Authentic through and through. Owners are from Italy, chefs from Italy. Better than most restaurants in the North End. I felt like I was back in Italy. The Chef came out to talk to us after the meal and described how he hand makes the pasta every morning.
Excellent food. Perfect portions. Quick service.
The grilled octopus was awesome. The atmosphere and location are great. However, one in our party had scallops wrapped in bacon and it was severely undercooked. Overall, the place is ok.
Wonderful restaurant GREAT lemoncello martinis!
Nice little restaurant with a cafe-like feel. We only went for drinks and appetizers after a day in the cape, but it was worth it. They have a good selection of cocktails and Italian wines, and the charcuterie board was extensive. Their price again was a bit on the expensive side, but not a surprise given that we were in the cape. Service was also a bit slow. Would definitely revisit regardless when we are in this part of the cape again!
The food was very good. I had the pollo/lemon main dish and was very satisfied. Portion was just right and cooked perfectly. I would eat there without hesitation. Good service and a nice, quaint atmosphere.
This is an authentic, consistently excellent Italian restaurant. Quality of of the food and service is supurb.
A very cozy place suitable for a family. Very nice and attentive personal with a reservation option. They have amazingly tasty mascarpone cheese dissert!!!!
La Civetta is the sweetest dining spot in Falmouth. The food is so authentic, delicious and fresh and prepared to perfection by their master chef! The owners and staff are wonderful. I always feel like I'm dining in their home.
Out if the 3 dishes we ordered only one was tasty. The fava bean puree had zero and I mean zero flavor. Scallops on top were good. Bolognese was dry and hubby has definitely had better. Carbonara was on POINT. Delicious, flavorful, melt in your mouth delicious!!!! Would go back for that dish for sure!!
One of the best italian meals I’ve had. Our server was very attentive and had great recommendations. The food was amazing and the wine paired well. We can’t wait to go back
Great place! It reminded me of Italy. They did not have "il vino de la casa" pint of wine or liter that the restaurant chose as a more economic choice. Very common in Italy. But the waiter wine recommendation was good. Food delicious good quality. Il mantecato di bacala was colorful and delicious I wish they put one more ball of cod but still was fantastic.
The food is always excellent and the people most welcoming. I love you guys!!
Food was great! Loved the lasagna special!
Dry chicken with terrible fried potatoes. Small servings of pesto. I never saw such a small serving of mussels and pasta. And the prices were high. We’ll try the other Italian place in Falmouth next time. Waitress was good though.
